The room was relatively quiet with the exception of the shadows from the blades spinning above me like a heli had just landed on a pad... my mouse pad? No but it's secondary partner in the distance thought I was funny as it continued to slowly squeak from side to side on a loose fitting. Droplets dribbled slowly into the basin of my illusory abyss. A few more hours of this without sleep and one could go insane. "I hope you don't snore me awake... hahaha" she jested. "Ha! Like I was going to sleep in a ward like this?" I thought, and replied "yes, I hope so too, a-haha" whilst smiling. I am surprised and yet not, how they withstand the barrage everyday, every hour, every minute, tick tick tick. The phrase "ignorance is bliss" popped up but then reality sank in, carelessness and abandonment is the order of day. Out of sight is truly out of mind. I would not be moved by it being applied to the common sugar load and its absorption leading to a malfunction of an organ but in this case, it is plain despicable... and yet life must go on, to the tune of "less hinderance is more", more for me and more for you. Let us all be happy now.
